Cool Resources on 9/11/11

Well, you read Animal Farm and need some resources for reviewing the book and making certain you have understood the themes and such. Well, Shmoop has 8 pages of links to information about the book. It is likely worthwhile to check out at least 9 or 10 of them, including Themes, Characters and their traits, AND Symbolism, Imagery and Allegory.
In addition, there is this thing that has taken over our lives lately. It has you using a sword, me swooning with grief, etc. Shmoop has an entire study guide for R + J that should help with understanding the entire play, and allow me to sign off on calling it literature!
Since you occasionally find yourself at a loss for what to do regarding a particular subject, I am providing a link to Curriki. Curriki is a curriculum sharing site, and there are loads of activities and information about most topics. At the least, it might be a good starting point...Just as an FYI, they posted a link to the Khan Academy Algebra I. Just sayin' - seems like his coverage of linear equations is very highly regarded!
And speaking of digital resources, one last link: Classroom Aid's Digital Resources.
One last note: Please don't forget to put together your study journal, and submit it. Without it, I cannot sign off on your having completed any coursework. Days with no coursework are absent days, and will need to be made up over the weekends and at the end of the school year. Please keep track of your schoolwork and turn in a report by the end of the week. If I don't have a report, it didn't happen! Love you!
