Welcome to the Bennett Educational Center website!

Bennett Educational Center is a homeschool located in Western North Carolina. While this website originally was meant as a means of communicating what we were doing to friends and family, it has become evident that the region is in need of centralized information regarding homeschooling opportunities, resources and information. This website has been re-imagined to fill that need.

We will be undergoing a massive transformation into a community resource for homeschool families in Western North Carolina. While by no means a complete reference, we aspire to become a robust, one-stop centralized effort. This will require some work on our part, as well as yours.

What we require from you:

JOIN! Members will be given permission to post in the forum, list events, make suggestions for content, include resources, and more!

We are experimenting with a variety of ways to make this model work for us, as well. At this point, the site is completely free - no membership fee, no ads. One of those is likely to change as the site becomes more and more expensive to maintain (our time, hosting, etc.) As a member, your input will be sought in the growth process.

What you can expect from us:

We will endeavor to seek out information to include in this website. We figure that the more informative and interesting it is, the more use it will be to the homeschool community in our region, and with any luck, the homeschool community at large.

We will attempt to keep the information featured timely and accurate, copious and clear. This endeavor is only worthwhile to us all if we are doing our part to make this site useable. Please let us know how we can best do that for you.
